Works for all five destinations — the UK, Canada, the USA, Ireland and the UAE. No email required, and nothing here is an offer.

Your English
If you haven't tested yet, say so โ that's normal at this stage and we'll tell you what to aim for.
Many universities accept a good Plus Two or A Level English mark in place of an English test, especially where the whole syllabus was taught in English. We place students on this route regularly. It is decided university by university rather than automatically — so tell us your mark before you pay for a test you may not need.

How this works. The bands used here are drawn from entry criteria that universities publish for international applicants, and from the financial requirements published by each government. They are generalisations across hundreds of institutions, so an individual course may ask for more or less than the ranges shown. Admissions decisions are made solely by the university, taking into account your full application โ transcripts, references, personal statement, portfolio and interview where required โ and visa decisions are made solely by the relevant government. This tool does not assess, predict or influence either.
This page is general guidance, not legal, immigration or financial advice. Fees and rules change often, so always check the official government or university website before you apply or pay.
